Photography and Video editing, is also an art in itself, as it takes a good understanding of the software that you edit with, regardless of whether you are editing a photo you have taken, or creating a video.
If you are editing a photo, you are more likely to be editing it in Adobe Photoshop as it is an Industry standard, and has been around for a long time, and there is a massive amount of support, with plenty of excellent tutorials available.
Adobe Lightroom is also very heavily intertwined with Photoshop, and one of the significant advantages of Adobe Software it is all Dynamically linked, meaning all of their software works together.
If you need to edit Video, then Adobe Premiere is recommended as both professional and advanced amateur editing, also basic editing can easily by achieved on it. Editing and recording music is being covered on my other website, this is slowly happening
I started with photography in my early teens
My brother Ian gave me the gift of a plastic camera for my birthday, I was around 14 years old, when he gave it to me, well the shots did not turn out very good, but it had set my journey into Photography, and thanks to my school teacher in grade seven, the class was introduced to standard 8mm movie making, now video production, from an early age, and I am still doing both.
